If the shipping address you used is a residential one then the delivery date that is shown on the tracking system is likely not the day that they will deliver it to. The first race of the Ontario Surron Light Bee MX Series is less than 3 weeks away! To make sure you’re prepared, we’ve put together this brief article with must-know info.

Ontario Light Bee MX Series FAQ
1. How do I register?

Registration will be on-site the day of the event from 2-5 pm.

2. What is the cost?

There is a $10 gate fee, which covers the cost of your Light Bee race entry. There may be an extra fee if there is open practice in the afternoon. Your gate entry gives you spectator access to the day’s racing, too.

Where to buy sur ron bikes

What are the rules?

– Bikes must be a Surron Light Bee X or S model (Segway version permitted). No Ultra Bee, Storm Bee, or non-Surron brands.

– Riders will be classified into Mod (powertrain mods OK) and Stock (battery, motor & controller must be stock). All riders will race together but will be scored based on class

– Modifications to the chassis, wheels/tires, suspension, bolt-ons, etc. are permitted in both classes

– Riders must wear a proper motorcycle helmet. No open-toe shoes (boots recommended). You may be filmed or photographed, so dress for it!

– AMO will score each session and track the points over the 5-race season

Can I participate even if I’ve never raced before?

Yes! While there will be experienced racers on the track, you’re welcome to show up and see if racing is for you. There will be open practice before the real racing begins so you can get comfortable with the track.

What do I need to bring besides my bike?

Bring your riding gear. It is also suggested that you bring a power source for charging your battery, or bring a backup battery. Otherwise, bring a full charge and keep an eye on your battery life!

What’s the race day schedule?

There will be an open track for Surron racers from 3-4 pm. The Light Bee races will be held as part of AMO’s evening festivities, starting around 5-6 pm. Riders are guaranteed 15 minutes of pre-race practice followed by heats and final rounds. The number of laps and racers in the finals will depend on turnout and track size.

Will there be prizes?

Yes. The top 3 at each race will receive a trophy and prizes/payouts (TBA).

Did you know that Off-Road Ontario now has dedicated classes for electric dirt bikes? Starting in 2023, Off-Road Ontario welcomes electric off-road models like the Surron Light Bee X, Ultra Bee, and Storm Bee, marking a significant step forward for electric motorcycles in off-road competition.

The rising popularity of the Surron Light Bee X has brought thousands of new riders into the world of off-road, a refreshing fact that should be welcomed by the off-road community. Owners of electric dirt bikes can now expand their horizons and showcase their prowess in a challenging new way on rough terrains with other dirt bike enthusiasts.

Electric bikes offer a range of unique benefits for trail riding organizations and facilities, including reduced noise pollution, zero emissions, and new riders. They also offer a solution for riding areas being closed due to noise and emissions regulations. Surron models offer these benefits as well as impressive performance and technological features not seen on conventional gas-powered bikes.

Off-Road Ontario has two electric classes whether you’re an Expert or Amateur rider. Bikes require a minimum 19” front wheel, must not have pedals, and will compete in a 1-hour race. Riders under 15 can enter electric machines in the Mini or PeeWee classes.

This includes casual trail riding, enduros, hare scrambles… it’s a really good thing for the sport.”

Surron Canada/DIAN Motors Inc. and the Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship are excited to announce their series partnership and the all-new Electric Rider Award, with the prize of a 2023 Light Bee X electric bike.

As well as becoming an official Bridgestone CSBK partner and providing the official staff pit vehicle of the series, Surron’s season-long award will be given to the amateur rider with the highest percentage of fastest laps across their respective classes and is open to riders of any of CSBK’s four amateur national classes.

Given the different number of races in each category, the number of fastest laps will be converted to a percentage based on those classes’ total number of races, not the number of races each rider chooses to participate in. The Amateur Superbike and Sport Bike classes will race seven times in 2023, while the Amateur Lightweight and Lightweight Pro/Am classes will have ten races.

The new award and their series partnership are part of many new efforts for Surron to introduce their highly popular and efficient electric machines into the Bridgestone CSBK paddock and beyond.

“The Light Bee X has proven to be popular with racers of all kinds for training and just pure fun,” explains Graeme Jones, director of marketing at Surron Canada. “Current champ Ben Young is a Surron owner, and we’re looking forward to exposing the brand to the broader racing community through our partnership with CSBK and the Electric Rider Award.”

The Electric Rider Award will be one of the few available to riders of multiple classes and will help showcase the fastest amateur talents on their path to becoming a pro. Eligible riders will be required to start at least three races across the season, which can be tallied up across any round.

Top candidates for the prize in 2023 include AIM Insurance Amateur Superbike champion Julien Lafortune, former lightweight star Andrew Cooney, and incoming Lightweight rookie Vincent Lalande.

A 2023 Light Bee X will be awarded at the final round at Shannonville Motorsport Park in September, one of many separate trophies available to the Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship paddock in 2023. Electric Bike

For 30 days after the delivery date, we can replace any part that is deemed defective from manufacturing.

The power system (motor, controller, display, and battery) has a 12-month limited warranty. The chassis, swing arm, and other non-wear parts have a 12-month warranty.

We do have exclusions for normal wear components (such as bearings, seals, chains, brake components, and suspension valves), as well as misuse or failure caused by damages due to accidents, collisions, or neglect. Misuse also includes altering any wiring, or installing any non-genuine parts, as well as any use for racing. Any misuse in charging, storing, or discharging will void this limited warranty. Limited warranty are non-transferable and you must have proof of purchase from us before asking for warranty replacement.
